Lenovo is famous for its mid-range phones such as the phone it released last June and its sub-brand Motorola, the Moto Z3.
The tech company has just unveiled what we can tag the most powerful Android phone on the market – the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT. This phone might be the first handset to use Snapdragon 855 when it finally hits the China market on January 24.
We don’t know whether the phone will come to the rest of the world after its release in China, but if it doesn’t come to the rest of the world, it will be a shame. We all want to enjoy good things so not coming to other parts of the world will be disappointing.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT will be a souped-up device that caters to users who are eager to get top-tier performance. The phone will reportedly cost $640 equivalent.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT outstrips the specs on the Lenovo Z5 Pro released in November. This Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with a whooping industry-topping 512GB of storage, 12GB of RAM and a 6.39-inch (2,340 x 1,080) OLED display.
Dell XPS 13 Review
The phone packs a pair of rear cameras (16MP and 24MP), a 3,350mAh battery and two front-facing cameras (16MP and an infrared 8MP).
The giant tech company opted to hide the two front-facing cameras behind a sliding front screen, which gives it an astonishing 95% screen-to-body ratio. Of course, the Z5 Pro GT is notchless. Unfortunately, you have to slide down the screen to take calls because the earpiece is located between the cameras.
Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is the future, but will not support 5G
Despite a lot of people clamoring for 5G, this phone will not support 5G. Just last year, Lenovo boasted it will be the first tech company to launch a 5G-compatible smartphone. Unfortunately, it won’t be this special-edition handset.
Nonetheless, Lenovo Z5 Pro GT will be the first smartphone to sport 12B of RAM. If you are looking for a powerful phone, Chinese buyers can pre-order the Z5 Pro GT starting on January 13.
