Moto Mod has Amazon Alexa built in

Motorola has just announced its latest MotoMod for its Moto Z handset family – the Moto smart speaker came with Amazon Alexa.

The MotoMod is priced at $149.99 and around AU$160, is a snap-to-connect mod that features its own dedicated speaker and familiar blue illumination ring that the owners of Echo Dot and Amazon Echo will be familiar with.

According to Motorola, you will be able to purchase the speaker with Amazon Alexa from Amazon website and Motorola own website in the US, UK and Germany from November.

Alexa at your beck and call

This Mod will give you an opportunity to trigger the smart assistant with your voice without needing to even touch your phone and results can be displayed on the screen of your phone.

It also features its own battery. Motorola says the battery will give you up to 15 hours of use, so you don’t need to worry about it draining your handset’s battery.

This is another achievement for Amazon Alexa as it keeps expanding every day. Though Samsung has announced Bixby 2.0 which we are still expecting, Amazon Alexa, is getting better every blessed day.

So Bixby 2.0 is better be prepared for this war because Amazon Alexa just landed on Moto mod from Motorola. From November, the Moto Mod with Amazon Alexa built in will hit the market, and you can start buying.

Watch this space because we will surely let you know when it is out.
