Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus was launched a few days ago and it has started receiving accolades for its photo-taking prowess, which can be considered the industry standard for all smartphone cameras related.
Just last month, DxOMark announced its new test for smartphone selfie cameras, which it designed to show smartphone users the best front-facing camera setup. Well, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus has already won distinction with its dual selfie sensors and second RGB depth camera, earning overall of 96 on DxOMark Selfie scale.
The review cited good target exposure on the face in most conditions and great color rendering, white balance and skin tone. It also praises the selfie camera’s detail in bright light at every shooting distance.
Of course, the phone’s camera did not score so high in everything – DxOMark notes that the narrow depth of the field of the camera can result in soft faces in group portraits and too soft background details and the camera’s selfie also exhibit dull colors in low light.
The smartphone’s selfie did not only earn praises, but its rear camera also earned a first-place score of 109 on the DxOmark mobile ranking alongside the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.
DxOMark says, “The Galaxy S0 Plus comes with the best camera we have ever seen on a Samsung smartphone, and will no doubt be one of the devices to beat in 2019.
Well, Todaytechnologynews will soon put the Galaxy S10 Plus and its siblings to test and release in-depth reviews. While the S10 Plus camera is enjoying accolades for its front-facing and rear camera, we will soon roll out our own S10 Plus review to help you know how good the smartphone is.
It has been announced that the phone will be out for sale sometime around April this year. So brace up to pay close to $2k.
