After a hard time post-launch, the Microsoft’s Xbox One has come into its own as a console –all because of Microsoft willingness to listen to the customers. This all-in-one entertainment device has become the source for some of the best gaming experiences you can find today. Plus the fact that it is an affordable 4K Blu-ray player and you have got something a device that can easily become the center of your living room.
There is a sign that Microsoft has a great and purposeful plan for the Xbox One. It dropped the plain and chunky casing of its original console for the smaller, HDR-capable, 4K and more aesthetically pleasing Xbox One S.
This brand has continued to evolve, and there will be a huge leap forward when the new member of Xbox is released in November 2017. The high-powered console promises great things, bringing VR and 4K to Xbox owner living rooms.
Despite Microsoft determination to march into a 4K and an increasingly crisp future, it is still ensuring all of its original Xbox titles are playable across every console, with several of them set to get 4K patches!
No matter the console you are planning to play on now, and in the future, you need to make sure you enjoy the great games that are available now.
Because of so many games to choose from, determining the games that are worth your money and time is not easy. That is why we are helping you to select the best 10 from the list.
Whether you are looking for a thrilling driving experience, a high-octane adventure, a left-field indie title or a top quality first-person shooter, you will be able to find it on Xbox.
You need to buy the team-based shooter on Xbox One
Overwatch is without any doubt one of the best game to come out of the last year. It is a classic team arena shooter from Blizzard that sets 2 six-person teams with wildly different characters against each other in a cartoonish and bright science fiction universe.
While it looks similar to the Call of Duty you have played in the past, Overwatch turns traditional shooters on their head with the addition of unique character cooldowns and ability to mix that force for you to strategize once in a while instead of running from room to room blindly.
Tight maps, great graphics and a good roster of characters to enjoy playing. We recommend Overwatch because it is a good old fashioned fun game that you will enjoy.

2. Forza Horizon 3
Exotic, huge and amazing to behold: Australia is the petrol-head’s dream
The original Forza titles were about pristine driving skills around greatly upkept tracks, but the Horizon series has the penchant for trading paint and is not afraid to have you get down and dirty with off-road races.
Forza Horizon 3 stands amid some of the greatest racing games you can play.

3. Dark Souls 3
You need to first consult your doctor to know if Dark Souls 3 is right for you
Playing the Dark Souls game is a masochistic thing. It is paining to lose to the same boss 10 times in a row, but chasing the buzz of victory makes it worth it.
Dark Soul 3 is the latest in the soul-crushing series and it is now more terrifying than ever. The graphic has gotten modern era updates, with stunning light effect illuminating all that is good.
The gameplay is now faster, riffing off of BloodBorne’s rapid pacing. The story and the online multiplayer now come together to make the game such that you won’t want to put the game down once you pick it up.

4. Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition
You would have to be blind to miss this indie fantasy stunner
This is a top-class graduate of Metroidvania school of action-adventure design where an enormous world gradually opens as the player unlocks new abilities. There is the world, to begin with – the dreamlike maze of the canted-over trunk, sunlight glades and thorny caverns – but it is not a question of blissful visuals. Ori is an empowering platformer with the main character who learns to scurry up surfaces and ricochet away from the projectile, like a spacecraft sling-shotting around the planet.
There is an improvement to this Definitive Edition because of the addition of new areas to explore plus additional background.

A great return to form
If your gaming collection is not complete without a quality horror title and if we had to suggest one it would be the latest instalment in the Resident Evil franchise.

The modern romp through the underworld
DOOM is quite good. DOOM impresses by bringing us back to the time where the dial-up internet was the way to access AOL email. DOOM is brutal, bloody and has devilish, frightening creatures that bleed when you slice them in half with a chainsaw.

7. Titanfall 2
Now better than before
Though the original Titanfall was great, but Titanfall 2 improves on it: the motion is more fluid, there are more distinct titans to select from.
The pedigree of this game is inherited from one of this generation’s most unusual and smartest shooters. The original Titanfall combined ninja-fast on-foot combat to a glorious thuggish thrill of piloting giant mechs, which are summoned from orbit a few minutes into the match.

8. Rise of the Tomb Raider
The game’s name is freedom in Lara’s new sprawling outing
This game still feels like the Tomb Raider game that has grown up despite being the sequel to the prequel about the Lara Croft’s young life. The reboot saw a brave new direction for the franchise looked a lot of the time to be a bit more than a bit of light Uncharted cosplay, but Rise is a more accomplished game.
There is now a genuinely open world which looks like there’s always something to do and something better than just harvesting up collectibles in exchange for the light dusting of XP. There are tombs too. Rise also has the best narratives of any Tomb Raider game, so give Lara some love.

Beautiful but frustrating
After lots of anticipation and a long development, Xbox indie exclusive Cuphead has finally been released. Cuphead is a run-and-gun platformer with stationary boss fight levels thrown in.
It is lovely to look at, but the gameplay is challenging as you are going to find yourself frustrated and dying a lot. It is still an indie experience you can’t afford to miss.
